Greetings! My name is Paige and I have extensive experience working with children. I taught ESL (English as a Second Language) to preschool up through middle school age children. I love working with kids and while in Korea taught classes up to 20 students. I moved to Korea in 2006 and worked with an After School Academy teaching reading, writing and speaking. Working with Korean kids was a great way to understand the culture! I moved to a preschool in 2007 and taught students aged 4-6. We learned phonics together and they learned to sing several English songs. I was responsible for planning my own lessons. Teaching students in another language was a challenging and rewarding experience. In 2010 I taught in the public schools in Korea. I came up with lesson plans and taught additional classes in the summer. Students in my summer camps were able to broaden and Read more deepen their English immersion through theater and singing. I'm comfortable working with younger children and often worked at children's camps in South Korea during the summer and winter months. I often led classes in arts and crafts, theater during my employment at the camps. From 2011 onward I worked at Dongguk University teaching college age students but continued to teach children on a part time basis. I''m currently a student at Red Rocks Community College and would love to work part time as a sitter/teacher again! I miss being out of the classroom!
