My name is Neelah Ali, I am 28 years old and a teacher at South High School. This is my fifth year teaching. I will be going back to school to pursue a midwifery degree Fall of 2020. I am looking to leave the classroom and nanny full time. I have 2 degrees from University of Colorado at Boulder in Ethnic Studies and Evolutionary and Ecology Biology. I have worked at Boulder Day Nursery for 4 years working with infants to 1 and a half years old but have subbed in other rooms with older kids. I speak some spanish and infant sign language often will introduce spanish words to the children I work with. Its very important for me to keep kids active and outside as much as possible. I have a very holistic approach. Depending on the age of the child I will work on development, gross motor Read more skills and language. I am willing to set up and progress monitor a childs growth. I would prefer to work with infants and toddlers but would be open to nannying for older children as well. I currently have a driver's permit and I am working on getting a license but that does not stop me from being where I need to be when I need to be there. I am reliable, flexible and willing to do household chores including; dishes, laundry, organizing and pet training and meal prep( I have experience cooking with soul food, keto and paleo diets).
