I have eight years of experience as a sitter/nanny and I truly enjoy what I do. I love how energetic and curious kids are and that each day is different and exciting; one minute I'm a firefighter and the next I'm a superhero saving Earth from destruction. I have experience in caring for infants to middle school aged children. I have worked as a part-time babysitter, a full-time and live-in nanny, and everything in between in a variety of cities: NY, Boston, and Europe. I was fortunate enough to spend a year working in Italy for a family with a 4-year-old boy and three summers with a family in Spain. I'm comfortable with pets and multiple children. I'm currently working as an assistant teacher at a preschool near DU, in the process of getting CDA certified. In the past most all of my volunteer work has been working with children. Read more I was part of a big sister/brother program in high school, I tutored students in an after school program at my local elementary school and I was a teacher's aid for a first grade class. Some responsibilities I have had included: school pick-up and drop-off, changing diapers, potty training, morning and bedtime routines, preparing meals, giving baths, light housework, taking children to scheduled destinations, scheduling play dates, and homework help. I enjoy arts and crafts (I could write a book on toilet paper tube crafts), board games, spending time outdoors at the park or playground, reading, going to the library, cooking, playing sports and visiting museums. My biggest concern is that the kids are safe, happy and having fun.
