Hello parents! My name is Nicole and I am a freshman at the University of Northern Colorado studying Elementary Education and getting an emphasis in Music Education. I have babysat/nannied for multiple families for 6 years! In addition, my adorable nephew is now 2 years old and I've watched him for my sister many times. I have a car, so I would be more than willing to take your kids on little field trips to the museum, or the zoo, etc. I love singing and acting and I also love doing arts and crafts, so that would give the kids and I something fun to do that isn't necessarily as expensive as other activities - you would be surprised at what you can make with a paper plate and pipe cleaners! I can cook easy meals, but enjoy following a recipe and learning to cook new things! I also like Read more to maintain a clean environment, so you can trust that I wouldn't leave a mess in your house, and even rely on me to do a few house hold chores if it made things easier on you, such as: vacuuming, dishes, etc. I am very outgoing and fun to be around as well as mature and responsible; although, I have a childish spirit that allows me to empathize, and actually enjoy taking care of children! It's one of the most rewarding jobs I've ever done, and I think it suits me well because kids don't only need someone to be in the house to keep an eye/ear out for them - they want someone to have fun with them! When it comes to being a babysitter or a nanny, it's important that you can relate to the children and - while viewing it as a serious job - also be able to get down to their level and play with them (and actually enjoy it as much as they do!). It can be tough trying to find a nanny that will genuinely care the way they might say they do about your children - so please feel free to ask me any questions and ask for as many references as you think you need to be sure about your decision.
