I love working with kids; the positive energy and imagination they bring to a room is amazing. At 15, I got a job coaching children's gymnastics, which gave me experience interacting with children ages 18 months to 14. A few months after working there, I was brought into the after-school program and eventually became the lead coach in the program, where I occupied and assisted up to 12 kids at one time. At 17, I became an after-school nanny for a family of 3 boys, and I watched them every day after school for a year. At 19, I became a full time nanny for 2 girls, ages 3 and 5 for about 6 months. Currently, I coach gymnastics for girls ages 3-7. I am certified in CPR and basic first aid, and I have training in the assistance of children with special needs.
