I have spent the past year and a half working as an assistant teacher in a 3rd grade classroom and then as a day program counselor for adults with developmental disabilities. I am eager to get back to working with children and my experience in the field of developmental disabilities will help immensely with children of all needs. In the classroom, I worked with 26 boys and girls to instruct classroom, small group, and individual lessons in all subjects. I have up to date Red Cross CPR/AED and First Aid certification. I also have a background in dance and I have taught students age 6 to 18 in ballet for 6 years. I love to get in lots of outdoor playtime and take trips to the zoo, museums, and do fun arts and crafts. Some of my personal hobbies include dancing, reading, hiking, and playing with my two adorable dogs! Read more I received a bachelor's in psychology and intend to return to school for my master's in social work and continue working with children as a therapist.
