I’m Ashely, a career nanny and childcare provider. I have over 10 years of experience, am CPR certified, took Early Childhood Education at Red Rocks, and taught preschool for two years. I am the oldest of nine children and I created a career out of my passion for family and children. I am also a licensed Colorado foster parent, and previously had placement of four siblings for fourteen months. I have substantial experience with newborns and children up to sixth grade. I have an extensive background in caring for multiples. I have experience with both breastfed and formula fed babies, as well as cloth diapering. I also have experience with baby led weaning and modified baby led weaning. I practice/teach baby sign language, as well as some basic Spanish, Hewbrew and French. I enjoy all things artistic and creative, and love to incorporate music and reading into daily routines. I Read more believe consistency is key in all aspects of child care. Communication between parents and myself as a care giver gives each child their best chance. I am an organized person and enjoy setting up routines, but am also very flexible. I follow a predominately love and logic based childcare philosophy, also utilizing redirection. I lead by example, little eyes are always watching. I truly enjoy being a nanny and getting to work along side parents to raise their children to be the best little humans they can be! Helping foster a child’s interests and development is both exciting and fulfilling! My nanny family of the last year and a half is placing their child into school, and I am looking for a new childcare position. My 23 month old daughter, accompanied me and has been a wonderful social and emotional benefit for my nanny child. It’s been a privilege watching them learn from each other and master new skills. I just gave birth to my second daughter in early April. Beginning in June I will transition to providing care from my home. I have a heavily Montessori influenced playroom, play ready backyard, and am walking distance to the local playground. I have availability for two children age range from infant to first grade, on a full time schedule. Located in Brighton, Villages at Buffalo Run neighborhood. For the right family I would be willing to discuss providing care in your home instead. My family is healthy, has been social distancing/quarantined since mid March, and we will continue to follow advised health and safety regulations regarding covid-19.
