Experience: I have experience with a wide age range, from infants to toddlers and from school children to adolescents. I've done private babysitting for several families with school children, including twins. I've also been a camp counselor for both summer and after-school programs. I've worked with youth in volunteer and performing arts settings and in large groups. Specifically, I spent two years working with elementary/middle school students on a volunteer basis in a weekly performing arts program. I also volunteered with an adolescent performing arts group with a volunteer focus, and accompanied large groups of teens on week-long servant tours throughout the country. I've also worked as a writing and reading tutor, working with students with learning disabilities. Education: I am a graduate from the University of Colorado at Boulder, having graduated with a 3.8 GPA after only three years in the English Literature undergraduate program. Additionally, I have a Read more Master's of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing from Fairfield University, where I maintained a 4.0 GPA. While completing my undergraduate degree I took coursework in child and adolescent development and educational reform. These courses have provided me with a unique perspective on how to best care for children at a variety of developmental stages. Interests: I've worked as a tutor in several settings and am passionate about encouraging learning and homework help. I love arts and crafts, as well as to encourage reading and other creative activities. I also love to encourage spending time outside. I'm also musically inclined, having sung in top choirs, as well as in solo settings. I also love infants!
