I worked as a preschool teacher for two years, with infants through children aged 12, before becoming a nanny. I left because I felt I could not give the children I worked with the care and attention they deserved; it was mostly due to the high child to teacher ratios that my employers utilized. I believe that a child is never too young to develop a love of learning and discovery that can last a lifetime, as long as the adults in their radius encourage that growth. I feel privileged to be able to help a child gain that ability and the relationship that I end up having with both the child(ren) and their families. I am CPR certified and have all the qualifications to be a preschool teacher (I just don't have the certificate). I have my own car and a great driving record.
