I have 10+ years of experience as a nanny, babysitter, and caregiver. In 2003 I became a certified Babysitter through the Westminster Recreation Center. In 2005 I became a certified Lifeguard as well. These certifications equipped me with First Aid, CPR, AED and rescue skills at an early age, which I have used and developed over the years. In addition to teaching swim lessons to kids and lifeguarding, I worked in the Kids Daycare area at Longview Recreation Center. Through college, I was a full time nanny during the summer for four years. I developed field trips, helped tutor, created art lessons and other activities with the family. This was a great experience that allowed me to be a special part of a family, which I enjoyed very much. In 2014 I gained my Wilderness First Aid certification. This was several hours of intense training on how to respond to Read more medical emergencies outdoors, all of which can be applied to indoors as well. Currently, I am the lead coordinator and operator of the Kid's Place at Nocoast Crossfit. I have created an atmosphere where kids of all ages can learn, grow and play together while their parents are working out. Now that I am a Graphic Design student, I would love to continue to nanny/babysit full time in the summer. I have reliable transportation, comfortable working with infants/all ages, have regularly cared for 5+ kids at a time, and look forward to meeting your family!
