Hello, My name is Sherilyn. I have had past work experiences in the Medical/Educational/ and Senior Care professions. I've been a CNA since graduation from high school. I no longer have this certificate by choice. I've worked as a Paraeducator for the Boulder Valley School District for 7 years. Some of those schools I worked in was assisting Special Education students from K-12th grades. I worked one year for St. Vrain School District with the Kindergarten students. I supervised lunchroom and recess duties. I assisted teachers with administering tests, grading papers, etc. My other work experiences have been in helping Seniors and the disabled in their homes from light housework, light meal preparation, transportation to appointments, and to fun activities or outings. I currently have my First Aid/CPR for Infant, Child, and Adult. This will expire in March of 2016. I plan on getting this renewed. I've led small groups Read more of children in educational activities and have immensely enjoyed this. My life experience as a single parent for 15 years has placed an understanding of the plight of the single parent. I totally "get it" and understand. I'm a writer of poetry and sometimes lyrics for music. As far as professional/personal references, I am willing to offer that if I'm hired as a Nanny/Sitter for your loved ones. I do not drink or smoke. I try and keep healthy by working out at the gym as often as possible.
