Hello, My name is Angie. I am a young 58 year old granny. (Yes, my grandkids do call me "Granny".) I have a lot of experience from my younger years as a mom, daycare provider, cub scout leader, etc. I now am expecting my 10th grandchild, and have been working as a nanny. I moved back to Colorado a couple of years ago from Okc where I had a massage therapy business in my own home. Nurturing comes naturally to me. I am now back to caring for children and am loving it. I have also been caring for pets and homes. I love to organize and decorate a home. This can include keeping a place for toys, keeping a safe pathway during playtime with toys, and even letting them choose how to decorate their own room...some. I encourage creativity and do crafts with the kids. I spend a lot Read more of floor-time with toys, games, and make-believe. Often, after we read a story or watch a video, we re-enact it ourselves afterward. Pretty cool if there is a moral to be learned from it. I take care of every child as if they were my own. I make a game out of doing chores, and I give lots of kudos. Happy kids just make my life much easier. I'm not the kind of adult to stand back and just tell the kids what to say or do. I involve myself as a leader. Teamwork can lead to self-confidence. Please feel free to contact me, and I will be more than happy to answer all your questions...well, questions about me, that is. I look forward to being your perfect nanny and becoming part of your family. Angie
