I am 27 years old and looking to pick up about 30 hours per week as a nanny. I was a nanny a few years back for a 9 year old. We spent most of our afternoons outside playing games. When we were inside we'd read books (she LOVED the Warriors season), doing arts and crafts, and playing games. I most recently worked at a daycare with ages 6 weeks to 6 years old. I spent most of my time with the 1-2 year olds. We had circle time where we learned colors, shapes, songs, and worked on motor skills. We also played a lot and worked on meeting developmental millstones with each child. I am currently looking for something that is more part time, but would be willing to consider full time. I am looking for something with more continuity in it for the kids. It's hard when they Read more move up and have new teachers every few months. I would like to work for a family long term and work with the same child as they grow and give them the care and support that they need that they may not receive if in a daycare. I love working with children and am looking to start ASAP. Right now I work until 5 pm and would be available to meet with you after that time.
