A little bit about myself: I moved to Colorado a few years ago from Nebraska after I graduated with my degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice and Psychology. When I moved, I made the decision to pursue a career in the health/fitness industry as I had been working at the police department in Omaha for 3 years and realized that it wasn't quite right for me and that my true passion lies in health/fitness. Growing up in a family with foster kids, I have been babysitting ever since I can remember for children ranging from 1 month to 14 years of age. Then, once I began school, I was able to take this knowledge into the daycare I worked at and later, the multiple families I have had the pleasure to nanny for since. Also, with 15 nieces and nephews and the fact that most of the families I have Read more become a nanny for started when they were newborns, I am very confident in my skills watching kids :) My past nanny position was for two families with infants ages 3 and 5 months. I was lucky to get to grow and learn with these little ones until they were 15 and 17 months old and one of their mothers decided she couldn't be away at work anymore and quit her job to stay home. I just got married this past September and with the added honeymoon and wedding expense, I'm looking for some extra income to help out!
