My past experience as a nanny and any kind of training has been just recently in the Re-Valley schools system. I have been a paraprofessional for the past 7 years accommodating Kindergarten teachers with special needs students, as well as the special ed teachers. My love for children started when I was 16 years old babysitting for an income while earning my drivers licence so I could have spending money!! I guess my love for kids grew then, as I continued babysitting clear through high school and then had my own two girls that are 27 and 31 now!! Needing extra income again I helped out the local pre-school in our little town and was a nanny for a family of 5 with twin girls and an autistic brother for 5 years...loved it!!! When the family no longer needed me I went into getting my early childhood degree in 2004 Read more and also had my own classroom...in 2008 I became a paraprofessional that helps in the classroom and liked it a lot..I then had personal family issues and divorced and moved to sterling in 2010. I was working in the school system until recently due to pay cuts and am now working retail, which I dislike... I have tons of experience, almost 35 years worth!!..I've had my own small daycare for the past 3 Summers while I had the Summers off ..I'm CPR trained, first aid trained, I've worked with children pretty much my entire life, I still would be, but due to going to a four day week next year my hours are being cut and no benefits!! I love kids!!! They love me...I connect with them and they give me a fulfilled life which no other job has ever been able to give!!! I live in a town which I'm ready to leave... I love to go to parks, swim, love dogs etc. movies, have tea parties, go to baseball games, paint, do crafts. I would love for your family to consider me for this position. Sharon
