Hello, I've been working with kids for over 15 years. I taught K-8th grade art for years in California. I was the lead teacher at a preschool in Telluride, Colorado. I have been giving private art lessons to kids since the early 2000's. I adore kiddos and they love me. I have been described as having endless patience. I will say that my patience is not actually endless. But I find that children and I work together well. I treat them as entire individuals. I don't talk down to children. I do, of course, enforce some semblance of order and timelines to our days together, but I let the children design their days based on their own innate passions. I love to go on walks in nature with animals and sing with kids. I am quite good at helping with homework or providing a shoulder to cry on.
