Hello! My name is Laura and I live in Arlington, VA. I have just completed my third year of teaching kindergarten. I taught for two years in CT and am finishing up my first year of teaching in D. C. As I finish up the school year, I am looking to nanny during my summer vacation. I received a degree in History from the University of Connecticut. After college, I began my two year experience with Teach For America which is an Americorps partner. Through Teach For America I became a fully certified general education teacher (grades k-6). I am currently in my 4th semester of Graduate school with Johns Hopkins University where I am working towards a Masters of Education with a concentration in Early Childhood Education. I am RED CROSS CPR and First Aid certified as of January, 2017.
