I've been joyfully doing childcare professionally for over twenty years. I've cared for children of all ages, from birth to teens! (I was a residential counselor for troubled teens for several years, as well.) I've never been a live-in caregiver, but I am now considering such an offer for the right family. I like to believe I go further than just providing physical care and safety for young children. I give equal attention to a child's mental and emotional development and help to prepare the youngest with preschool teaching I'm also big on physical activity outdoors, even if just to kick a ball in the backyard! I feel I get along well with children of all ages, and am happy to be chauffeur, adviser and general overseer of teen conduct and activities as well as tending to an infant's more elementary needs. At the moment I'm happily employed with a Read more lovely family of two young children (I've been with them for almost 5 years), but have decided to make myself available for a live-in situation for a family that needs general evening care, an extra pair of hands as the day winds down and household chores, homework, bath and bed take precedence. I look forward to hearing from any family that could use extra assistance!
