I will be available starting in the Fall for Daytime, Date Night, and Before School Hours. I have about 5 years worth of paid experience working with children, ages ranging from 6 weeks to 12 years. I worked at one daycare for 3 years with infants and toddlers, where I changed diapers, played games with the children, prepared meals and bottles, and organized early learning opportunities. We did a lot of crafts, sensory experiences and games, and read books. Now I am currently working at another childcare facility with school aged children. My job title here is "Group Leader" for third and fourth graders. As Group Leader, I organize and oversee crafts, experiments, activities and games, supervise outdoor play), and help the children with their homework. Additionally, I have college level coursework in Early Childhood Education, which includes: Early Childhood Development, The Preschooler, Sociology, and Psychology (which touched on lifespan development). I have experience nannying for a preschool aged child which included housework and meal preparation. I am comfortable with cleaning and meal preparation, and I have had many pets of my own over the years including large and small dogs. I love doing arts and crafts, board games, cooking, and doing outdoor activities. I have my own car so transportation would not be an issue.
