My name is Emma and I am an experienced caregiver of both children and pets! I have taken care of children from the ages of 3 months old to 16 years old in various settings for the past 10 years including in home babysitting, day care businesses, and summer camps. I also serve as a foster for dogs and am more than comfortable combining the two services! In the past, I have been certified to teach swim lessons and I would love incorporate this activity, along with other outdoor adventures, when appropriate. OMG, I thought she was going to be a perfect fit. She seem smart, motivated, and driven. She has a speech therapy background. so she could help my son. She had some relevant experience. I should have guess she was going to self sabotage as soon as I heard how many different things she has moved from . She clearly has commitment issues. Her latest idea; to run away with the circus! She was looking for a live in position. We spent a lot of time with interviews. So much wasted time! We were supposed to do a facetime with the family so she could meet the wife and kids. Not easy since she is on the East coast 3 hours ahead! So we had a bit of a delay with the meeting and even though we were ready to go she just told us that she decided she did not have confidence in us bringing her out. We have had two precious live in nannies, all over a year. We are very experience hosts, and bosses. Anyway she self sabotaged. Sad. But what a waste of time. I would avoid this young lady. For a babysitting position she is probably fine but forget anything long term. She will let you down. Learn from my mistake.
