Hello! My name is Hannah York and I wanted to express my interest in your summer nanny position. I am currently 20 years old and a Junior at Bryant University studying Actuarial Science and Finance. I will soon be on break and am looking for a summer job that will keep me busy and allow me to save some money before I head back to school in the fall! I have had various babysitting and nanny positions over the past couple of years. Currently - I babysit 2 times a week for a family near my school (September 2015-Present). The children I look after are 8, 6, and two newborn twins (approximately 3-4 months old now). My responsibilities include: school pick up, dinner preparation, feeding the infants, giving the children baths, and assuring that they do their homework and are in bed at a reasonable time. Previously - I was Read more fortunate enough to spend last summer on Block Island as a nanny for two children age 10 and 12 at the time. We spent our days at the beach and doing various water activities (banana boating, paddle boarding, kayaking). Basically, we were outside from sun up to sun down enjoying the summertime and staying active. My responsibilities included: early morning breakfast, laundry, housekeeping, carpooling the children and their friends, lunch, and making sure their summer work was completed. In addition to being a nanny last summer, I also worked at a boutique during the nighttime. I was extremely busy, but still stay organized and in good spirits!
