I have worked as a babysitter for several families before and my absolute favorite part of being a nanny/sitter is that I get to be an integral part in the child's development. There is nothing more rewarding than watching a child grow and progress. I also am the Commissioner of the Grassroots Soccer League. I oversee this instructional soccer program for up to 75 girls ages 4-13 from the Rochester City School District. Therefore, for the past two years I have delivered weekly soccer instruction as well as lessons on being a supportive and respectful teammate. I have been responsible for planning literacy and mathematics activities, creating practice plans, communicating with volunteer coaches and parents, and running games. Therefore, I have spent a lot of time working hands on with children.
