I also believe Child Care is a serious position requiring much more than sitting in front of a TV." Currently I am seeking an AWESOME family with GREAT kid(s) to provide childcare for. I would love to find a family who are looking for either a short or long term care arrangement. I have a very flexible schedule. My name is Rebecca & I have extensive experience providing childcare for children: newborn through school age. I have also provided transportation for a family's school aged children for extra-curricular activities, as needed. I am currently scheduled to become re-certified in the ARC Adult/Infant First Aid, CPR, AED course. I have accredited college credits in Early Childhood Education (1989-1990, NVCC, CT). I have extensive experience with child care/rearing, as I have 4 children of my own (ranging in ages from 13 to 20) as well as 5 "grown" step children. I am energetic, fun loving, caring and just simply love children. I know the importance of scheduling, multi-tasking and organization (all while being fun & silly!).  I, personally, run a very organized, clean, structured home. My children are all/have all been good students, polite, well rounded individuals.   Because my children are somewhat older, I have the ability to be flexible with my schedule.  I am also very punctual, preferring to be early than to be late. I had spent many years working outside the home and I know what it means to rely on other's timing & how it affects you. I understand the demand on working parents, especially Mothers – and am open to assisting with general light housekeeping duties as needed (laundry), starting dinner, etc. to help my employer out , as needed.
