I am a natural caregiver who loves nature and the curiosity of children. I was a special education teacher for many years so patience is my middle name. My finance and I have shared custody of his three children so I'm used to multitasking and being in two places at once. Earlier this year I had an accident that has kept me from a full time 9-5 job. Although I have never been a nanny, I was a teacher of elementary aged children and would like to continue in child care. I do hold a teaching certificate in the state of New York. I enjoy being outdoors and exploring what's in our own backyards, baking, reading and all this crafty. I am organized and structured by nature but not rigid. I want to provide families a service that goes beyond their expectation and enhance their children's lives.
