Rachel’s Bio

Hi, my name is Rachel. My most recent work experience is in the medical field. I currently hold a license as a LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse).  After working a number of years in the medical field I rediscovered my love for child care after the birth of my niece ( I currently babysit for my very active one year old niece on a regular basis). Prior to my nursing career I worked in a daycare center for approximately 4 years. I cared for children ranging in age from 6 weeks to 10 years. While caring for multiple children I kept each child on their own individual schedule and provided age appropriate learning activities.  When caring for children I feel that it is important to encourage learning based play as well as physical activities. I am looking forward to working with a loving family and participating in the care and development of their children.
