Greetings! Thank you for considering me to help out your family! I graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2015 with a double major in Psychology and Anthropology. During the summer months of college I had the pleasure of being a lifeguard for multiple locations as well as a camp counselor in Vermont for children with Autism. Following my graduation I moved out to Montana to work at a Therapeutic Boarding School for teenage girls. Here, I was a Residential and Adventure Youth Mentor, as well as a House Parent. These roles solidified my desire to work with children and empower them to succeed in all areas of their lives. Returning to Connecticut, I have been working for Wellspring, a Residential Treatment Center. In the children's program my roles include Land & Animal programming, Weekend Scheduling, Adventure Programming, as well as teaching yoga and meditation. Furthermore I assist with running Read more the Milieu and ensuring that all routines and functions of the household are complete. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with a younger population to help reunite them with their families. I have babysat and filled the role as Nanny for many families since the time I was 12 years old. When babysitting children, my philosophy is for them to remain active, eat healthy, and have fun! But ultimately I follow the rules provided by the parents. I highly enjoy doing arts and crafts with children as well as playing sports. I would rather play a game with them than watch a movie! I am an energetic, intuitive, and attentive individual.
