Hello, my name is Brittany. I'm 26 years old, and live in Milford, CT with my husband. I am a registered nurse at Hartford Hospital, working in the postpartum newborn unit. I have been in this specialty area for a little over a year, and prior to that I worked on a cardiac floor for two years. I chose a career in nursing because I love caring for and helping people. The reason I chose to switch specialties within the hospital was because of my love for children and babies. I am very comfortable with newborns as I work in the newborn nursery a couple times per week, in addition to caring for mother and baby after delivery. I love how my job allows me to assist and educate the family unit as a whole. I am CPR certified as well as certified in Neonatal Resuscitation. I also have past Read more experience with babysitting children from the ages of 6 months-12 years old. My work schedule is flexible as I only work 3 days per week; three 12 hour shifts 7am-7:30pm. My schedule comes out in 6 week time blocks, therefore I could arrange to have certain days off if needed, otherwise last minute needs are acceptable as well. On my days off I am available to babysit morning, afternoon, and/or evening.
