For the past eight years I have worked with children of all ages. From Montessori, preschool, and babysitting -- to outdoor education and summer camp, I have all the experience necessary to properly care for, entertain, and encourage your child. I am patient, empathetic, creative, energetic and organized. My training includes formal Montessori assistant guide seminars and experience with the 3-6 year old age group, positive behavior support training, and American Heart Association CPR/First Aid certification. I graduated from the University of Kansas in August 2014 with an overall GPA of 3.62, with a BA in African Studies, during which time my focus was on traditional and transformative education methodology. For the past four years I have gained extensive experience leading outdoor school groups, activities such as high ropes courses, canoeing and swimming instruction, as well as environmental science classes for ages 8-15. Working with children is an experience I take great pride in, and intend on building my professional career around. I have limited availability for babysitting and short-term nanny commitments due to my work with various outdoor schools throughout New England.
