• Comfortable with pets

I have 8 nieces/nephews, and plenty of experience taking care of them. As of now, I should be available for work at any time, but might prefer Mon-Fri. I babysat my niece every day for a year and a half (for about 7-8 hours a day.) I'd also often take care of my two sisters' other children when they'd need someone to. I've done a few sitting jobs for neighbors or friends as well, and I've already nannied for two families within New Haven since I moved here. I think taking care of kids is much more enjoyable and rewarding than an office, retail, or warehouse job ever could be, and I hope that someday I can be a stay at home parent when I end up having children of my own. I'm a child at heart in the good ways, but am also very reliable and responsible. I feel Read more like being a good role model for kids is also a very important aspect of the nannying job. I don't smoke or drink, I recently finished obtaining my Associate's degree in Fine Art, and I just moved to New Haven CT with my girlfriend while she's finishing up her last year at grad school. At the moment I'm hoping to find something close to our apartment so I can walk or bike. Saving money is good, and if I can avoid buying a car and driving, I'd like to.
