Currently a Child Development Specialist at the Village for Families and Children in Hartford. Here, I support behaviorally disordered children through therapeutic groups and activities and provide opportunity to learn proper social and coping skills. Also, I am pursuing a masters degree in Social Work and am looking for a summer position before I go back to school next fall. Prior experience includes Kindercare Learning Center for 5 years, and full-time nanny for 3 children for 3 years. Responsibilities included transportation as needed, meal prep, infant care, activities, crafts, outdoor play, and keeping children healthy and happy! CPR and med-certified. I am an active person and enjoy keeping the children I care for active as well. I am an animal lover and am comfortable with animals in the house.
