Between my personal life, my pre-college jobs and my professional career path, I've always found myself around kids. I grew up in a large family that has always had kids running around in it. As a teenager, I babysat for a number of families, kids ranging in ages, as well as volunteering at a pre-school in North Haven for a couple of years. During the summers, I have worked as a camp counselor and director in North Branford and loved every second of it. As I had to make choices for my future, I knew that I wanted to work with kids and Social Work became not just a major for me, but a passion. I have studied childhood development in multiple classes during my college years as well as other areas that help in my work with children. After graduating from FUS in Ohio, I was a Child Welfare Read more case worker where I worked with children who were victims of abuse/neglect. I've moved back home to CT and would love to have some adventures with little rugrats again!
