When I was a teenager I was an assistant dance teacher, teaching children from ages 5 to 13. I have also grown up baby-sitting both my 10-year-old niece and 5-year-old nephew, so am familiar with caring for siblings (particularly working through sibling quarrels). Overall, I love getting to know the interests of each individual child. I have a very broad range of interests, but especially love nature and the outdoors; I grew up near Great Pond State Forest and as a kid was always interested in the different creatures and habitats surrounding me. If permitted, I would be happy to take whomever is in my care on hikes and any other outdoor adventures they wish. Another one of my biggest interests is art: I am currently an Honors art student and rising senior at Lesley University College of Art & Design in Cambridge, MA.
