Hello, My name is Melissa Nelson.I am 23 years old and am very interested in your job posting. I am currently a nanny for a family with two young children in Cheshire, but unfortunetly they have cut my hours to part time because of financial circumstances. I love the family very much but I need something full time for my financial reasons, and I am also getting married next June. I would like to share with you about my past experiences in child care. I have been a nanny for two different families during the summers of 2010 and 2011 when I came home from college. I am currently from Southington, CT. A little bit of my past history in childcare: I have over six years of experience in caring for children. Now they are 7,10, and 12 years of age and I still continue a very close relationship with them and babysit on occasion. When I was 17 years old I began working at a daycare in Southington. I worked with children ages 1-2 and was responsible for educating them and caring for them in whatever I could. In the fall of 2010, I attended Pensacola Christian College in Pensacola, Florida. I graduated with an Associates degree in Medical Office in May 2013. During the summers of college I was a nanny for a family with two young boys ages 2 and 5 and was responsible for meal preperation, light housekeeping, engaging them in educational activities and play, and most importantly making them feel loved and cared for. I was also a nanny in the summer in 2011 for a different family who also had two young boys ages 1 and 3. I enjoy caring for children very much and and watching them grow and learning new things.
