Hello, my name is Susan Lynch and I have been a Caregiver/Child Educator for the past 20+ years. First, as the Owner & Operator of The Caribou Kids Club Home Childcare in Bellingham, Massachusetts for 16 years, and more recently, a Teacher Assistant at Wellesley Public Schools and formerly a Director of After-school programs within the Franklin Public Schools Department and the Metrowest YMCA in Framingham/Ashland, Massachusetts. Prior to that, I was a Nutritionist, and hold a BS in Nutrition, working for 6 years at Newton Wellesley Hospital and 4 years at the East Boston Neighborhood Health Center. What I really enjoy is working with families and new parents assisting with childcare and household management. I am organized and detail orientated- but also a true nurturer, enjoying the play-fullness and natural curiosity of children. I understand the daily challenges associated with balancing work with family, and I am happy to Read more ease the burden in any way that I can-cooking family meals, cleaning, etc. At the present time I am in search of a summer Nanny position, but I am open to assisting families on a per diem basis as well. I standout from others in my field because first and foremost I love children-I am reliable, responsible, and have extensive expertise with children of all ages as a caregiver, an educator and a professional. I am also pursuing a Masters Degree in Tesol ( Teaching English as a Second Language) I am new to Connecticut and just recently relocated here from Franklin, Massachusetts.
