Hello, I'm Christie and I'd describe myself as a kind, patient, fun and loving person. I have roughly 10 years experience working as a child caregiver, specifically at a daycare and as a nanny. During this time, I’ve worked with ages ranging from infant through Elementary level, gaining familiarity supervising multiple children effectively. My tasks/duties were taking the necessary precautions while educating, entertaining, and providing care for the children. This also included any food prep, pick-ups/drop-offs, cleaning, errands, etc. I was in charge of planning a structured daily routine, which involved any art, reading, singing, homework (depending on age), several other indoor/outdoor activities, etc. Although I have a BA in Graphics, I took several courses in Early Childhood Education and Adolescent Psychology as well. Caring for a child(ren) comes naturally for me. I take pleasure in watching the growth and development of a child, while fully engaging in their process.
