I was 13 years old when my youngest sister was born, so I grew up helping with her, playing with her, and learning about the joys of young children from her. During my high school years I babysat occasionally for local family friends, and during the summers of high school worked at a home daycare. I worked as a preschool assistant teacher in a Montessori school for a year during college, and spent another year and a half working at Bright Horizons, a daycare center, working with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. I had my son in May of 2012, during my senior year of college. I feel very accomplished to have completed my Bachelors degree in Psychology last year, while raising a brilliant young boy. I was born and raised in New England, but our family recently relocated to the DC area. I am looking for a job as a Read more nanny because it is what I love to do. I am passionate about babies and children. I am fascinated by their abilities to learn and grow quickly, and inspired by how innocent and pure their love can be. I would like to bring my son, if it works out, and I am willing to have my pay lowered if I were able to bring him. I am currently CPR certified, and I was originally a Nursing major before I switched to Psychology.
