Hi! My name is Claire McGonagle and I am a Public Health student at The George Washington University. I have had extensive childcare experience, focusing mostly on working with children with physical and mental disabilities. Most recently I was an attendant for a severely autistic teenage girl for two consecutive summers. Through this experience I learned a lot about ABA therapy. I would consider working with children with autism to be my strong suit as my own younger brother also has severe autism. I am extremely accustomed to the challenges and joys of working with children with autism. During high school I worked at a daycare specially geared at total inclusion and support for children of all disabilites, and spent a summer working with disabled children in Cusco, Peru. I would consider myself an incredibly patient and understanding person with a compassionate and energetic personality. Aside from childcare I am Read more capable of any small organizational or housekeeping task asked of me. Additionally I am CPR certified and am an experienced driver.
