I have worked as a babysitter and a nanny since the age of 14. I attended Virginia Tech and received my BS in Psychology, focusing primarily on child psychology. After graduating college, I continued my education at NVCC in Early Childhood Education and became a Kindergarten teacher. As of this June, I will have completed 4 years of teaching kindergarten. I love working with children and hoping to work as a nanny for the summer and quite possibly for the long-term. With my teaching experience, I can and would be happy to provide tutoring/homework help or even homeschooling. I am also experienced in the arts (I have a background in singing and acting) and feel it is important for children to be exposed to arts and culture. I love to come up with creative and fun activities to keep children active and broaden their minds.
