My experience as a nanny was many moons ago when I first came to the Unitesd States. A navy Captain , a widower, hired and sponsored me primarily to take care of his daughter who just lost her mom and supervise the older brother who is hearing impaired. I was both nanny and housekeeper. Captain J travelled on occasion and left me responsible for the house and the kids and sometimes the grandparents, when they came to visit. I eventually got my green card and Captain J remarried so we both agreed that it was time for me to move on and also,to,give his new wife a chance to build a relationship with his kids. I got a job as a government contractor as an administrative assistant for over 12 yrs. I got laid off in 2014. Now I am looking for a part time position that will allow me Read more to continue my coding & Billing classes and have Tuesday's off so I can continue my volunteer service in the Ronald McDonald House of Charities. I am hoping to work 30'hrs. my hrs are flexible except for Tuesday's. I can be both nanny and be a personal assistant to working professionals who may need a break or assistance with errands. I can do email response assistance, calendar management and other administrative functions as needed. I am detail oriented. Well organized and and reliable. Any job I take, big,or small is important to me and look at it as a learning experience and an opportunity to learn something new.
