Hi, my name is Aiesha Myles and I am currently a full time nanny in DC, specifically in (but not limited to) the NE, Capitol Hill area. I’ve been a nanny full time for about a year now, but I started off as a long term substitute teacher and paraprofessional aide with DCPS. I served with DCPS for about 7 yrs and transitioned to becoming a nanny, due to the pandemic. My experience in academics ranges from early childhood education, SPED and all grade levels in elementary school. However, the most experience I have to date is with early childhood education. My professional experience in childcare and education has been over the past 5-7 years, however I’ve worked in childcare surpassing those numbers. While school is on summer break, I work for DPR (Department of Parks and Recreation) where I serve as a Camp Facilitator in the Little Explorers (3-5 Read more yrs) division. While being a Camp Facilitator I was responsible for the daily care and safety of (15-22) children. I graduated undergrad from University of Maryland Eastern Shore, where I attained a degree in Telecommunications. I’m currently a DC resident, so I prefer a family in the DC area, I’m seeking a full time nanny position at the beginning of September, specifically Mon-Fri. I am fully vaccinated and can get my CPR certification if necessary. I’m also looking to start at the beginning of September.
