I am a 42-year old mother of two. I have 63 credits of college education in the early childhood education field, and am currently enrolled in college to complete a 2-year degree in the human services field. My work experience includes employment at Dunbar Elementary School in Laurel, DE, where I worked as a teachers aid. I have owned my own daycare in the past, and worked at several other daycare centers, before I made the decision to enter into the beauty industry. I transitioned into beauty school and the salon environment over 14-years ago. I still provide hair services to this day and I love making people feel beautiful. Currently, I am working as a substance abuse counselor in a correctional facility. I have been working with incarcerated individuals for over 3-years now and have the ability to maintain integrity, boundaries, work ethic, and follow rules and procedures. It is my desire to work with children and spend my time loving, nurturing, teaching, and role modeling proper behavior.
