HI! I'm Caitlyn Burton. A newly married 21 year old. I graduated college from Del Tech in dover, De in 2013 with a birth through 2nd grade education degree. I have worked in 4 different preschools/daycare facilities since 2012. I worked at Del Tech preschool for 2 years with infants and ones, and since then i worked at 2 other preschool with one year olds, and am currently working at St. Andrews preschool with the infants and one year olds, as well as filling in with the 2, 3, and 4 year old classrooms. I have babysat since i was about 12 and worked in a church nursery for years. I have always loved kids and wanted to be a mommy for as long as i could remember. I even carried around a baby doll till i was almost 13. Through getting my degree i have found out how much Read more a child under 5 years old can learn. That they learn the most information in the first 1000 days (3ish years) then the rest of their life. I LOVE doing arts and crafts with kids and i play the guitar and piano and sing with them as well. I love being outside, going to the pool or the beach, drawing with sidewalk chalk, riding bikes, taking a walk etc. Kids make me laugh and i love being around them. I am looking to become a nanny just for a more personal relationship with the child and family. I have babysat for the same few families since their first child was born and now they keep me along with every added child :) I live in middletown but am willing to travel within reason!
