Hi, I'm Sam and I'm currently a senior Social Work student. I am also studying for a double minor in Childhood Development and Arabic Language. I have experience babysitting children of all ages, including those with special needs. I have worked with children diagnosed with ADD, ADHD, Autism, and Down Syndrome. I have been involved in several child mentoring programs with kids of elementary and middle school age. I enjoy outdoor activities the most including biking, hiking swimming, and other sports and games. I have some experience with coaching/teaching soccer, basketball and lacrosse. When the weather is bad and the kids need to be inside I enjoy reading, arts and crafts/drawing, board games, legos, and baking yummy treats. While I am not a 5 star chef, I can hold my own in the kitchen and assist with meals (stir fry, baked chicken, potatoes, pasta, roasted veggies, etc.). I am adult, Read more child and infant CPR, AED, and First Aid certified. I have my own car with a clean driving record and am willing to do pickups/dropoffs as well as driving to fun activities. I absolutely love animals, in fact I am a regular shelter volunteer. I have experience with dogs, cats, rodents and reptiles and would be more than happy to lend a hand taking care of pets.
