I have worked in a preschool setting for fourteen years. During this time I have cared for and nurtured many toddlers through prekindergarten age children. I have the DCF 40 hours of child care training certification which includes Introduction to Child Care/Behavioral Observation and Screening/Early Literacy for Children Age Birth through Three/Preschool Appropriate Practices/Standards for Four-Year-Olds. I have completed an eight hour course in first aid and child/infant CPR. As a preschool employee, I am required to pass a background screening. I also have a perfect driving record. The last year and one half I have been responsible for full time care of ten preschoolers. Prior to my preschool employment, I had the pleasure of being a stay at home mom to my now grown son and daughter.
