Seminole County Public School paraprofessional employee. Educated, Psychology and Sociology Degrees. Extremely Reliable, Outgoing, Friendly, Energetic, Consistent, Patient, Ability to Multitask, Attentive, Flexible, Non-Smoker, Safe Transportation. First Aid/AED/CPR Certified. Currently work for Seminole County School District. Began career working as a teacher's assistant @ a preschool when I was only 15 y/o. Went on to become a nanny @ the age of 18 for the same family for almost 9 yrs. (Still speak to the now grown children & family.) After staying home to raise my own daughter for her first 4 yrs. (until she went in to Pre-K. She is now 17 & in college in IL). I then went on to consistently work in both public schools & a private therapeutic school for all populations: extensive work w/ "regular/general education" students, behavior disorder/emotional disorder students, students with multiple learning disabilities, ADHD, and physical disabilities. Have tutored as well. Read more I excel in writing, English/literature, psychology, reading, test prep, etc. I'm less skilled in advanced math, but am proficient with basic math/some pre-alg type of math. (Darned if I haven't tried advanced math, but just cannot master higher level math). Currently, I'm in my 4th consecutive year with the same student in the SCPS. I am a 1:1 parapro for a gifted (honors/straight "A") student with Muscular Dystrophy. I'm looking for extra work outside this job to pick up additional income doing a job I already love. Since I work at a high school, one advantage is that I begin early and am released early. Looking for RELIABLE SUMMER WORK during my off season. Im having some difficulty entering my preferences for DATES for my schedule on the site. I am available for only after school, some weekend work, date nights and that sort of thing until the current school year ends at the end of May, 2018, then wide open for summer 2018! Regardless of what “availability” on the visible schedule dates, this should be accurate until end of May 2018 & then I’m completely open for SUMMER WORK! Personal & Professional references furnished upon request. I live in Apopka.
