I have been working with children of all ages for over 30 years. I started babysitting and coaching/teaching swimming while in high school. I went on to pursue my love of children in college, where I earned a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education/Early Childhood. While in college, I had a variety of childcare experiences, including babysitting, live-in nanny, life-guarding and teaching swimming at the city pool, and a lot of hours spent in the local preschools and elementary schools. Some of my work experiences following college included: 10 years coaching, teaching, and managing a swim team, 10 years as the Associate Director and teacher at a local preschool, 4 years as organizer and leader of local parenting workshops, summers as a camp counselor for various local summer camps, and most recently a live-out nanny. I also have 3 children of my own ages 10, 13 and 15. My ideal job Read more would as a full-time, live-out nanny or nanny/housekeeper for a family with young children or a baby. Because I have 3 school age children, I would like to have the bulk of my work time during school hours. My time with my family has always been a priority. As the children get older, I will maintain the integrity of our family unit. However, I would be available for occasional late nights or weekends, upon request. I am loyal to my clients and respectful of their wants and needs. I am a hard worker, with the best interest of the child as my priority.
