Hello! My name is Jenny Alovis. I am a first year college student at Florida Gulf Coast University. I have always been passionate about children and providing them with as many positive and meaningful experiences as I can. When I was just 11 years old I became a 'Mother's Helper' for a family that lived close by. When I turned thirteen I was getting paid for my services, and continued babysitting for a few different families. When I got to high school I joined a academy ( a program in a school that specializes in one specific area) called The Early Childhood Education Academy. In short, the academy had a full functioning preschool where the student teachers would learn to take care of preschool aged children and be trained for real teaching experiences. By the middle of the program, we had created our own lesson plans and taught them to Read more the children. I then took the Florida DCF exams, in which I passed all six. I am currently in college as a Psychology major and am looking for a job as a live-in summer nanny. I am very active and value the outdoors. I truly love kids and am hoping to find a family that treats me as one of their own for the summer. Thank you.
