My name is Cheryl. I have worked in many facets of childcare for 25 years now. I have been a private nanny for one child as well as multiple children.. I have also worked as an infant teacher, toddler and preschool teacher, and have been a pre k teacher, as well as a preschool administrator. I have an AA in Early Childhood Education, a Child Development Associate's Credential, and I have been certified in infant/child CPR and first aid year after year. Children are my passion and I believe that bonding and developing trust with children is crucial. When children, even babies come to have trust in you the bond is irreplaceable. I have created that bond and trust in many ways from answering cries of infants, and providing for their needs instantly from feeding, changing, and just holding them, speaking with them, and cuddling with them. I have formed Read more that trust with preschoolers and older children by of course helping with their physical needs, but especially by conversing and taking an interest in what they have to say, reading with them, playing with them, doing crafts, and just sitting with them. I feel that an infants laugh and the light of a child's eye when they are creating, being read to, etc., are truly rewarding. I am not afraid to be very silly. I love to sing make messes, (of course I'll clean them up) and be outside with children. I have had a lot of experience through out the years and I feel it has given me a sense of maturity and knowledge about children I am extremely responsible, flexible, organized and a great multi tasker.
