Hi! My name is Kim and I live in Rogers Park with my husband and our cat. I have a bachelor's in Early Childhood Education and I have been caring for children since 2005. Teaching and caring for children is my passion! In these 15 years I have been a babysitter, nanny, preschool teacher, aftercare teacher, first grade teacher, and currently a special education paraprofessional. I believe that children learn through play, and I use this knowledge to engage children in rich play experiences. I like to encourage them to be physically active, but I also understand the importance of reading and quiet time. My philosophy involves a balance between physical activity, reading/educational time, love and discipline. I have experience and enjoy caring for children birth through 12 years of age who range in their abilities.
