Hello my name is Ana and after reading your post I believe I'm a perfect fit for the position. I love children and children love me. I'm a caring, patient, loving person who cherishes children of all ages. I have over 25 years experience on working with children from infants to 18 yrs of age. I started as an assistant teacher at a daycare taking care of infants in 1992. Then I worked as a nanny for 6 month old twin girls in 1995 until the girls were 5 yrs old. Eventually, the family moved to another state due to new job opportunity. However, we kept in contact for a few years. The girls used to send me letters written by them letting me know how much they missed me and how they were doing. After that, I decided to get into the child development field. I took my 40 Read more hours child care courses at the community college, then I obtained my CDA (Child Development Associate). I worked as a lead teacher at Professional Learning Center in Juno Beach Florida for 3 yrs, later on I worked at ABC Learning Academy in West Palm Beach for many years as I was studying for my Child Development Degree. In 2003, I was offered a job as an Afterschool Program Director where I was in charge to run a program for elementary school age children. I enjoyed every minute of it because my staff and I were able to create learning opportunities in different areas such as academics, arts and crafts, dance, sports, music, an social and emotional activities. Always priding ourselves in the children's safety first. In 2015, I started working for The Boys and Girls Club where I worked as a Family Service Coordinator working with children and their families. I'm currently working on my Human Services and Child Development Bachelors Degree. I'm a mother of two wonderful girls. They are adults now so now Im looking to work with children and be part of all their developmental stages and create positive memories in their lives. Thank you for your consideration.
